More than a hundred complaints should be filed against the two large groups of private nursing homes, according to lawyer Me Sarah Saldmann. However, the future of these complaints remains uncertain, given similar procedures in recent years and the large number of complainants.Me Sarah Saldmann is now a very busy lawyer. For the past few days, this specialist in criminal law and family law has been awash in requests from people wishing to file a complaint against Orpea and Korian, two large groups of private nursing homes .
“For Orpea, I already have more than 150 family reports. For Korian, we were at around thirty last week. But I continue to receive emails every day, explains Me Saldmann. At this stage, we can say that a hundred complaints will be filed against Orpea. For Korian, it is still a little early to give a figure", adds the lawyer, specifying that these grouped complaints will be filed for "involuntary homicides, failure to assist a person in danger, deliberate endangerment of the life of others or negligent violence”.
